Hey Sis, They say change your hair, change your life — and I believe that with my whole heart. 💁🏾♀️ Now before you ask, no, I didn’t chop it all off. But I did start Phase 1 today — I dyed it. And when I tell you it feels like shedding old energy and stepping into new softness at the same time? Whew. It’s not just about hair. It’s about identity, intention, and energy. Every time we sit in that chair, we’re lowkey saying: “I’m ready for something new.” “I’m reclaiming how I want to feel.” “I’m not waiting for life to shift — I’m shifting it myself.” For Black women especially, hair has always been more than style, it’s our story. It’s how we carry our confidence, express our evolution, and signal to the world (and ourselves) that we’re entering a new chapter. So yeah, I changed my hair. But truthfully? My energy changed first. And this time, I decided the outside needed to catch up. Here’s to lift transformations, intentional shifts, and the quiet confidence that comes from showing up as your next-level self. What about you? Is there a part of your life that’s ready for a fresh dye job…figuratively or literally? 🤔 Chat soon, Nikia P.S. If you’re in a season of shifting, come join us inside The Rested Reset. It’s where we remind each other that evolving doesn’t have to be exhausting.
